After a long cease of Mount Olympus webcam functioning due to instrumental problems, Snowreport’s Managing Director Mr. Panos Vatikiotis (
www.snowreport.gr) climbed up Mount Olympus to maintain the webcam and to retrieve data from the meteorological station, providing us in this way with more terrestrial images of Zeus’ Throne and with a better idea about the mountain’s climatological reality.
In the meantime, it is both inspiring and educating to have Konstantinos (aka ‘the Star Boy’) Basilakakos around, whom mostly sleeps the day and is awake during the nights producing really nice images from Mount Olympus stellar reality.
