After a long lasting brake during the entire winter season, we finally see some light in the end of the tunnel. As the nearly 3 month imposed, restriction measures are over we are happy to be back on the Mountain of Gods.

Refuge Ch. Kakkalos will start its summer season on Friday June 5
th on the World Environment Day. In this way we will pay a tribute to the unique natural environment of Mount Olympus.

Due to the new reality we are all facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain measures will apply.
- The refuge offers food and drinks but NO ACCOMODATION for the time being. There will be further notice from June 15th onwards.
- The consumption of food and drinks is restricted outside the refuge where tables have been placed distantly according to the most recent regulations imposed by the Greek Government.
- The use of toilets is restricted to persons at a time.
Please consider the fact that the refuge is in the alpine zone and weather conditions are ususally very different in relation to the sea level even during the hottest summer months. Plan you climb accordingly and seek information before you set out to the heights.
We count on the mutual understanding that this new and unprecedented situation has brought.
